Once you are ready to begin your journey, click the "Book a Consultation" request button and request a day and time you'd like to meet with us. We will meet at your home or business at a mutually agreeable time.

The Landscape consultation will prepare Alexander Designs to deliver an exciting collection of color images of your design, 3D video of your property and everything you need to kick off your project including a detailed plant material list, size of specimens, quantity and species by common and botanical names. 

For your interior design, we will conduct an interview to understand your goals, whether you are working with a new home or remodeling an existing space. As we formulate your vision, we will discover the foundational elements that will create your new design. Next we will assist in the selection of your furniture, artwork, accessories and fabrics, including utilizing any existing pieces. Finally we will help you place and color coordinate your new space. 

Alexander Designs offers professional low voltage lighting design, selection, and placement to enhance the beauty of your landscape.

At Alexander Designs, we focus on what we do best, design consultation and realization. You can work directly with one of our preferred installers for your delivery and installation or work with your own contractor. For exterior, it's highly recommended to schedule installation from October through March.  

We are well positioned to work with your contractor to help select material, placement, consultation and coordination for a separate fee. Pricing is on an individual case basis. We will help ensure the best material is identified and sourced and work with the installer to place the material as per the design. Our goal is to make sure your final product is aligned with your initial design. We also offer post installation consultation should you need it.

Alex Quintana and Alan Beardslee are the owners of Alexander Designs. Residing in Palm Springs, CA, they are a formidable duo that together offer decades of experience in home renovation and design.  Both Alan and Alex have remodeled multiple homes and have gained a loyal following of clients and friends that routinely enlist them for design projects. Alex is a Master Gardener with the University of California Desert Area, was a docent at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens in Miami, is currently a board member of the Southern California Palm Society and has cultivated all varieties of plants for over 40 years including desert natives, palms, orchids and Bonsai. Alan is an experienced design consultant and has worked in the interior design field for over 30 years. He specializes in Mid Century, Modern and Transitional design elements. Alan is also a color consultation expert, working exclusively with designers for over 10 years.
